Monday morning came too early. It caught me by surprise. I remember we jumped without worry. Then making good plans not to be unwise. . . #sumba #exploresumba #trip #travel #letsgosomewhere #passionpassport #wanderlust #wanderfolk #stayandwander #folkscenery #folkindonesia #livefolkindonesia #livefolk #liveauthentic #wonderfulindonesia #getaway #escape #createscenery #moodygrams #instatravel #travelgram #words #darlingescapes #exploremore #sonya6000 #sonyforher #beach #islandlife
It's quiet a dilemma for me now. It's about to remember the good thing or to remember the bad thing so I know how to handle it next time. . I checked off one of my bucket list destinations last month, Sumba. Weekuri Lake, which actually a beautiful lagoon in south-west Sumba region, gave me unforgettable memories. Not only because of its beauty and how I really love my time swimming and floating around the water, but also the bad memory when the death was so close to me. It was when we saw a little girl very close to death. She was playing around the water alone until somebody realized the girl's body floated without any move. The adults around us didn't really know how to give proper emergency procedures. Women, probably the mother and the relatives of the girl, started crying. And a miracle happened! A tourist, who is also a senior doctor just arrived visiting the lagoon. He directly run to the girl's body. In less than 10 minutes, we knew the girl started breathing again. The doctor gave a CPR to her and saved her life. But what if there was no doctor? The death was too close.
